1 pound ground beef (80%-20%)
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic cloves, minced
1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can black soy beans, drained (Eden)
1 tbs chili powder
1 tbs cumin
1 tsp chipotle chilies in adobo sauce
2 chicken bouillon cubes
salt, to taste
1. Brown ground beef with onions, garlic and green peppers.
2. Add everything else and simmer about an hour, adding water, 1/4-cup at a time, if needed. Adjust spices to taste.
Serving size: 1/6 of a recipe (12.7 ounces).
